From this survey I published found that
- People expect to see 'guitars', 'the artist performing', a 'storyline' and people dressed indie.
- Our main audience is 16-24yr old females
- People listen to indie pop music because of the 'lyrics' and it is 'original'
- The conventions expected to be seen are, 'the artist dressed casually', 'guitars' and 'featured outside'
- The people who took the survery mainly get their music by 'downloading' or 'online', few people get there music from 'CDs'
- Mainly people hear new music from 'friends', 'music channels', 'the radio' and adverts they see on places like 'YouTube' and 'Spotify'
- All but one person said how they thought Kate Nash would fit into the Indie pop genre
- Everyone said how they would find an indie pop music video to be mainly storyline
